Bloomfield Hills players and coaches pose with their MHSAA Region 7 boys tennis championship trophy on Thursday.

      Division 1 co-No. 1-ranked Bloomfield Hills won the Michigan High School Athletic Association Region 7 boys tennis championship on Thursday, Oct. 7, at Clarkston.

   Bloomfield Hills won the title with 23 points. Rochester and Rochester Adams tied for second with 12 points each.

   The Black Hawks won three singles flights, with Daniel Stojanov (No. 2),

 

 

 Pierce Shaya (No. 3), and Aaron Rose (No. 4) winning championships.

   Bloomfield Hills swept the four doubles flights, with the teams of Merrick Chernett and Toni Vasile (No. 1), Ryan Rose and Michael Dillon (No. 2), Kierth Lingam and Drew Davis (No. 3), and Ethan Endelman and Dominic Pascarella (No. 4) winning championships.

   The MHSAA Division 2 championship is scheduled for Friday-Saturday, Oct. 15-16, in the Kalamazoo area.
